POSITION DESCRIPTION
Part-Time (Contract) Project Manager & Logistics Guru Bright Ideas Only is looking for an excited, capable part-time product manager to join their team. A general enjoyment and knowledge of current entertainment properties and music are preferred. Position will be directly involved in managing timelines, tracking shipments, maintaining vendor relations, troubleshooting shipping snafus, and working in tandem with founders Abby and Kim.

Bright Ideas Only is a hybrid creative agency fusing a decade in entertainment marketing with a full-service design studio. BIO specializes in creating VIP programs, merchandise and branding.

Widely known for original, clever & budget-friendly ideas, BIO clients range from superstar music talent and national non-profits to major league sports teams and comedians. We take clients, fans and communities back to what matters most: creating connections, igniting passion & sparking a-ha moments.

Our clients come back for 3 reasons: genuine collaboration in an era of generic connection, the WHY behind our ideas and our (some say neurotic) attention to detail. We’ve also been told we’re pretty fun but that’s not an official reason on the list (for now).


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Over the top, uber organized (some say anal!?) go-getter.

  • Aggressive (but sweet), won’t take no for an answer (but are nice about it) and you definitely get shit done (work hard, play harder is what we always say!)

  • Crush coordinating all facets of transport: packing slips, communicating tracking info to clients, following up with vendors that product has shipped, etc. (you enjoy tediously planning your family vacation - you love digging into the details and knowing it’s going to be perfect)

  • You will multitask like a champ - managing multiple project timelines simultaneously (you’re not bothered when you’re taken off task because something else has come up - you realize you have to go with the flow sometimes) 

  • Contribute creative, exciting product ideas for BIO projects (it excites you to plan parties & get togethers because you get to flex your creativity!)

  • Expertise in professional client management: written & oral (you can #adult when needed) 

  • Experience in receiving negative feedback from others without outwardly reacting towards person (can include: clients, freelancers or members of the team)

  • Ability to problem solve using email, phone, and in person tactics (and you’re not scared of making an actual phone call) ∙ Ability to delegate effectively, efficiently and with minimal back and forth

  • Experience in handling high­ profile, sensitive materials (photos, personal belongings, interviews, etc. from celebrities) while maintaining 100% confidentiality


REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidate must have at least two (2) years experience in client or account management

  • Candidate must possess strong organizational and time management skills 

  • Candidate must be excellent at listening, working with others, and problem solving
